When you apply for a job you have to pass an interview test and convince the interviewer that you are the right person for this job. Here are the 7 tips which will help you to get success in an interview.

1. Be Prepared

Before going to an interview do some study or research on the internet related to that job position that will draw an idea into your mind and you can sit confidently in the interview room. Even you can ask your friends and relatives if they have some knowledge and experience about that.

Also, some research about the company is important too. You should know about the company where you are going for an interview.

There is no need to take a long time for studying or learning, a small research and small guidance is enough for your interview preparation.

2. Well Dress Up

A proverb is “The first impression is the last impression”. so get well dressed and when you meet with the interviewer look into his/her eyes and shake your hand and introduce yourself by saying your name loudly.

Make sure you have a CV in your hand already so you don’t need to pick it and search for it in your bag or anywhere in front of the interviewer.

Put your CV right in front of yourself and slowly forward it to the interviewer if he/she doesn’t have it.

3. Introduce Yourself

Normally the interview starts with the Introduction, So start telling about yourself like your education, your daily routines, why you applied for this job, how interested you are in this job, your past working experience and so on.

4. Listen Carefully

When a question is asked from you by the interviewer listen it carefully and don’t cut his/her sentence or line. Let him/her finish the sentence or question then start answering.

If you start answering while the question is incomplete then this behavior is quite awkward and it gives a bad impression.

5. To The Point Answer

Try to give an accurate and short answer rather than explaining in a long way. The sound of your answer should be positive even if he/she asked something which you have no experience in past.

If you failed at something in the past don’t blame anyone or anything it goes a bad impact on the interviewer. You should show yourself positive and energetic.

If he/she ask something which you have no idea or experience so don’t hesitate you can say you have no experience in this before but you can do that if you give an opportunity.

6. Salary Discussion

The expected salary is already in your mind but before going to discuss salary you may ask some questions to the interviewer like company size, how long the company is established, products and clients of the company, etc.

Because there is the possibility that company can pay you more than your expectations so if you have knowledge about these questions that will help you to calculate the salary ratio and you can increase your expectation.

7. Ask Questions About The Company

And at last, if the interviewer asks “Do you have any questions?”. Don’t say NO, you should ask some questions about the company and employment process.

Some example questions are; how many annual leaves, leave encashment process, number of holidays, medical insurance, timings of the company, check-in & check-out process, and other rules and policies.
